Ciao, I am Alessandra, I am originally from Napoli,
Italy, now living in Newcastle, Australia with my beloved little family:
Christian and Marley.
Osteria Papazzo, is my home away from home,
It is the extension of my kitchen and dining room and I am so honoured to host you
at our Intimate Pop ups.
​
Our work is a beautiful artisanal work, made only for our clients at our Pop ups,
so on a very small scale. We source only fresh, local, organic where possible
and seasonal produce. We bring lots of respect to the food we source, grow and cook,
lots of respect to our suppliers here in NSW and to the team we work with, and last
But not least to You who join our tables.
We make everything from scratch, with our hands, either is our pasta, bread,
focaccias and cakes.
The flours we use are organic, sustainable and from wholegrain milling co.
​We only use extra virgin olive oil for our dishes and we use peanut oil for deep frying.
We do not use any sweetener or added sugar
in our kitchen unless it is present naturally
in some of the produce we use or it is necessary for some of our dessert recipes.
​We activate everything so our dishes are more gentle to your health.
The meat we source is all gluten free.
​Our food is prepared in a kitchen where gluten, dairy,
nuts or other food allergens are used, so please let us know
if you have any dietary requirement or any particular allergy
when you reserve a table with us.
​We offer a small simple menu for our Pop up Nights and Mornings
and we change it weekly but we make sure everyone has catered for.
Everyone is very welcome to dine with us, either you are alone or
with your family and friends. :)
Here at Osteria Papazzo, We celebrate my Neapolitan and Italian roots,
through Australian produce in a more healthy way compared to my ancestors :) and
We are so honoured to share them with you here in Newcastle.

She custom designed a menu to not only aesthetically match our tableware, but added a wow factor and filled our stomachs with joy!
